Purchase a Membership

iXGIS currently provides Free, Professional, and Advanced editions. Choose the edition that fits your data volume, map export resolution, AI usage frequency, and Cloud Drive capacity.

Edition Overview

  • Free edition: Suitable for trying features and lightweight use. It supports static data rendering, bitmap georeferencing, vector data creation and editing, raster editing and processing, standard map export at 96 dpi, trial access to the AI console, the Geoprocessing Toolbox up to 10 runs per day, and 1 GB of Cloud Drive capacity.
  • Professional edition: Includes all Free edition features, plus high-resolution map export at 600 dpi, 100 AI console runs per day, unlimited Geoprocessing Toolbox runs, and 10 GB of Cloud Drive capacity.
  • Advanced edition: Includes all Professional edition features and increases Cloud Drive capacity to 100 GB. It is suitable for higher-frequency and larger-scale data management and map production.

Purchase Recommendations

  • For daily learning, feature evaluation, and lightweight map production, start with the Free edition.
  • If you need high-resolution map export or frequent use of AI or the Geoprocessing Toolbox, choose the Professional edition.
  • If you need more Cloud Drive capacity or long-term management of many projects and datasets, choose the Advanced edition.

How to Purchase

After logging in, open the user drop-down menu and select Purchase model permissions.

Select the iXGIS product. Your iXGIS membership status is shown under My permissions. If the product has not been purchased, click Purchase.

Select the following options:

  • Membership level: Professional or Advanced
  • Billing cycle: 1 month or 1 year
  • Payment method: Points, Gold, or Gold + Points

Click Purchase.

A payment confirmation dialog appears.

After the purchase succeeds, the membership level, status, effective date, and expiration date are displayed.

You can renew or upgrade the membership later.

System and Browser Requirements

  • Desktop browser: Latest stable version of Chrome, Edge, or Firefox; Safari 16 or later
  • Graphics card and driver: WebGL 1.0 support, WebGL 2.0 recommended; hardware acceleration enabled
  • Memory: 16 GB or more for general use; 32 GB or more for large datasets
  • Network: Stable HTTPS access
  • Note: Safari may have issues when rendering large datasets. On macOS, Chrome or Edge is recommended.

Troubleshooting

  • Check whether hardware acceleration is enabled in the browser. In Chrome, go to Settings > System > Use hardware acceleration when available.
  • If the console reports a WebGL initialization failure, try enabling ANGLE or compatibility options in chrome://flags, or update the graphics driver.
  • 401/403: Check the token and Referer allowlist. WMTS/WMS requests must include the correct Authorization header or query parameters. Clear the site cookies and try again.

Q: Which vector data formats are supported?

A: iXGIS supports editing Shapefile, GeoPackage, and PostGIS vector data. It supports uploading and converting openGDP data in .ZIP packages, and uploading and converting table formats such as CSV and XLS. Multiple formats can be imported as gpv, pgv, or shp vector data.

Q: Which raster data formats are supported?

A: iXGIS supports pixel editing and processing for GeoTIFF raster data. It supports computation for most raster formats supported by the open-source GDAL library, and can import multiple formats as GeoTIFF raster data.

Q: How do I import and colorize a GeoTIFF?

A: Go to Data > Add Data, select the GeoTIFF file, and set the NoData value and color ramp.

Q: How do I overlay an online basemap?

A: Go to Start > Background map to add a basemap. Multiple Tianditu imagery basemaps are supported.
